Logistics posts are practical updates for participants. They are useful for load-in times, entrance changes, site access, vehicle instructions, weather-related adjustments, pitch reminders, or final event-day notes.
Post an event-wide update
Open the event Logistics Posts tab
Use the event page tabs.
Add an optional title
Use a direct title such as Updated load-in instructions.
Write the message
The message should tell participants what changed and what to do.
Post update
The update appears on participant logistics tabs and can notify approved and confirmed participants.
Post a participant-specific update
Staff can also create logistics posts for one event participant. Use this for pitch-specific, arrival-specific, or access-specific information that should not be visible to everyone.
Good logistics copy
- Say what changed, who it affects, and what the participant should do next.
- Include times, entrances, contact points, and vehicle instructions where they matter.
- Avoid vague updates such as "please note changes" without the practical detail people need on arrival.
Delete an update
Deleting a logistics post removes it from the portal view. Use deletion when the update should no longer be visible, not as a substitute for posting a correction when people may already have read it.
Logistics posts are not a replacement for urgent safety procedures. Use your normal urgent communication process when immediate action is required.
