Recover From a Site Plan Save Conflict

Handle the warning shown when another tab or team member saved the site plan before your draft could save.

All articles

Site Planner checks the plan revision when it saves. If your browser is editing an older revision, SmartGig blocks the stale save instead of silently replacing the newer plan.

What the warning means

  • The plan has been saved somewhere else since your page loaded.
  • Your local edits are still visible on your screen.
  • SmartGig has not overwritten the newer saved plan.
  • The latest saved revision is shown in the conflict panel.

Choose the recovery path

01

Reload latest

Use this when the newer saved plan should win. Your screen updates to the latest revision.

02

Save draft copy

Use this when your stale draft contains useful layout work. SmartGig stores it in the template library without overwriting the current event plan.

03

Keep draft

Use this when you need to inspect your local changes before reloading. The stale draft stays on screen, but it still cannot overwrite the saved revision.

04

Save again after reload

Once you are on the current revision, make the needed changes and save normally.

Do not keep working for a long time on a stale draft. Reload latest first, then reapply the changes that still matter.
