Account creation sets up both your user login and your organisation workspace. The organisation is where events, modules, team members, documents, billing, portals, and settings live.
How to create the account
Open the sign-up page
Choose Start trial from the public SmartGig website.
Add organisation details
Enter the organisation name that should appear on the account. Use a clear trading or event organiser name so invited colleagues recognise it later.
Add your user details
Enter your name, email address, password, and confirmation password. This user becomes the first account owner.
Choose package options
Select the modules and allowances that fit the work you need to run. You can review package changes later from Billing if your account allows self-service changes.
Finish sign-up
Submit the form and follow any verification prompt before inviting the rest of your team.
What happens next
- You may need to verify your email before all account features are available.
- The dashboard shows the modules available to your organisation and to your role.
- Billing shows trial, subscription, package, service credit, card, and invoice information where your role has access.
- Settings > Payments is separate and is used for participant or ticket card payments through Stripe Connect.
Do not treat your SmartGig subscription billing as event income. Billing pays for SmartGig. Payments and Ticketing handle money collected from participants or customers.
