Pending invitations are not team members yet. They are waiting links. Keep them tidy so the access list reflects who should actually be joining your event workspace.
When to resend or revoke
- Resend when the person still needs access but cannot find the email or the link has expired.
- Revoke when the email address is wrong, the person no longer needs access, or the role on the invitation is not appropriate.
- Create a new invitation when both the email address and access level need to change.
Resend an invitation
Open Team Members
Scroll to Pending invitations.
Find the invitation
Check the email address and role before sending another link.
Choose Resend
SmartGig creates a fresh invitation email.
Tell the person to use the newest email
This avoids confusion if they later find an old invitation.
Revoke an invitation
Open Pending invitations
Find the invitation that should be cancelled.
Choose Revoke
Confirm the action. The invitation link stops being usable.
Send a new invitation if needed
If the email address or role was wrong, create a fresh invitation with the correct details.
If you invited the wrong email address, revoke it rather than waiting for expiry. Pending access should be as deliberate as active access.
