Profile settings belong to your user account. They are separate from organisation settings such as billing, package, domains, payment setup, and team roles.
Update profile details
Open Account settings
Use the profile area from the app navigation.
Update name or email address
Save changes after editing.
Verify a new email address
If you changed email, SmartGig may ask you to verify the new address.
Update avatar or appearance
Use the available profile controls for your account.
Email address changes
- Use an inbox you can keep access to during busy event periods.
- Tell an owner or admin if the change affects finance, support, or operational handover.
- Verify the new address before relying on invitations, password resets, or security notices.
Change your password
Open Password settings
Find the password update form.
Enter current password
This confirms the change is authorised.
Enter and confirm the new password
Use a strong password you do not reuse elsewhere.
Save
The new password starts working immediately.
When to review account security
- You changed your email address or password.
- You used SmartGig on a shared or temporary device.
- You no longer recognise an active session.
- Your role gives access to billing, exports, payments, user management, or live event operations.
If you suspect someone else used your account, change your password, enable two-factor authentication, and revoke unfamiliar sessions.
