Billing controls the money your organisation pays for SmartGig. It is not the same as event payments collected from participants or ticket buyers.

What Billing can show

  • Current package and billing cycle.
  • Trial end date and remaining trial time where applicable.
  • Available package components and monthly or annual pricing.
  • Subscription cards and invoice history for card-billed accounts.
  • Service credit balance, credit plan selection, renewals, and credit history for credit-billed accounts.
  • Package previews before applying changes.

Changing package or billing

  • Some accounts can add or change package components from Billing.
  • Card-billed accounts can manage payment methods and download subscription invoices.
  • Service-credit accounts can preview credit usage before applying a plan.
  • Some downgrades or account changes may require support if they affect active data or features.

Billing versus Payments

  • Billing pays SmartGig.
  • Settings > Payments connects Stripe for participant and ticket card payments.
  • Event Payments manages participant fees, invoices, and reminders.
  • Ticketing manages ticket orders, checkout, refunds, and reports.

If you are trying to fix participant card payments, do not start in Billing. Start in Settings > Payments and then check the event or ticketing setup.
