Billing controls the money your organisation pays for SmartGig. It is not the same as event payments collected from participants or ticket buyers.
What Billing can show
- Current package and billing cycle.
- Trial end date and remaining trial time where applicable.
- Available package components and monthly or annual pricing.
- Subscription cards and invoice history for card-billed accounts.
- Service credit balance, credit plan selection, renewals, and credit history for credit-billed accounts.
- Package previews before applying changes.
Changing package or billing
- Some accounts can add or change package components from Billing.
- Card-billed accounts can manage payment methods and download subscription invoices.
- Service-credit accounts can preview credit usage before applying a plan.
- Some downgrades or account changes may require support if they affect active data or features.
Billing versus Payments
- Billing pays SmartGig.
- Settings > Payments connects Stripe for participant and ticket card payments.
- Event Payments manages participant fees, invoices, and reminders.
- Ticketing manages ticket orders, checkout, refunds, and reports.
If you are trying to fix participant card payments, do not start in Billing. Start in Settings > Payments and then check the event or ticketing setup.
